Finding your way around
The five tabs, the Home tiles, My work, the Me screen, the menu, and the floor settings for gloves, glare and language.
This page describes the app when your company holds the DataMagik Mobile license and you hold a Mobile role. Without them, the app shows your apps, the AI chat, materials and Shop Floor instead; see Apps and dashboards on the phone.
The tabs

| Scan | Scan anything and the app works out what it is. Scan a container and then a location to move it. Shown when your areas use scanning. |
| Apps | Your company's DataMagik apps, dashboards and boards. |
| Me | Your plant, zone, numbers, PIN, language and floor settings, and sign out. |
After you sign in, the app opens on My work. If your role includes the supervisor board, it opens on the board instead. The tabs hide while the keyboard is open and on full-screen screens such as a running app or a Shop Floor board.
Pick your plant first
Every scan that changes Plex is made at a plant. Open Me and tap your plant under Plant. A check mark shows the one chosen, and a test plant carries a TEST tag. If your company has only one plant it is chosen for you. Until a plant is chosen, screens say Pick your plant on the Me screen first.
Home
Home shows one tile per area your role allows:

A tile marked Admin means you hold that area's admin permission. Not set up on Parcel + LTL means your company has not connected parcel shipping yet. If Home is empty, it says No areas are turned on for you yet. Ask your admin for a mobile role.
With no signal, Home shows Offline · showing the areas this device last saw and keeps working from the last list it received.
My work
Each section shows only when it has something in it:
- Needs a fix: scans that Plex or DataMagik refused, each with why. Tap OK once you have dealt with it, or Ask why to have the Assistant explain it. See Scanning, receipts and Undo.
- My material tasks: material tasks you have claimed. Tap one to open it.
- Next on the Run: your next stop. Tap to open the Run.
- Waiting for Plex: scans still on their way, each with a live receipt.
- Shop Floor actions: a link to your Shop Floor actions, where your company has Shop Floor.
With nothing to do it says Nothing is assigned to you right now.
Me
- Plant: where your scans are made.
- My numbers: your tasks, tasks per hour and performance against standard. If your company has turned personal numbers off, the card says so. See The supervisor board and your numbers.
- My zone: your zone or door, for printing and directed work. Type it, for example Dock 3, and tap Save zone. Labels you print go to the first printer online in your zone.
- On the floor: Glove mode makes buttons and keys bigger. High contrast helps in glare, freezers and outdoor docks. Both are kept on this device.
- Language: Same as this device, English, Español or 简体中文. It applies at once.
- Company and App version.
- Set my PIN: see Shared devices, badges and your PIN.
- Mobile Admins also see Set up as a shared device, Devices, People, Printer zones and Record a walk; see People, devices and printing.
- Settings and Sign out.
The menu
Tap the menu button at the top left. It lists the same areas as Home under Work, then Shop Floor (boards and floor screens, where your company has Shop Floor), Me, Settings, Documentation (these pages), Support and Sign out. On a screen inside an area, the top left shows a back arrow instead.
Languages
The app follows your phone's language: Spanish for any Spanish setting, Simplified Chinese for any Chinese setting, and English otherwise. Change it on Me under Language. The choice is kept on the device, so on a shared handheld it stays for the next person. The sign-in, two-factor and Settings screens are in English only.
