Dashboard & App Links

DataMagik lets you connect the pieces you build so users move smoothly between them: an automation can hand off to a dashboard or an app, and a dashboard can be opened directly by URL.

Linking an automation to a dashboard or app

When you configure an automation action, you can attach a link to a dashboard or an Application Designer app. After the action runs, the user is offered a one-click way to jump to the relevant dashboard or app — for example, run a lookup automation and then open the dashboard that shows the result in context. The link travels with the action, so it appears wherever that automation surfaces (the extension button, the automation run history, and so on).

Opening a dashboard by URL

Every dashboard has a direct view URL of the form https://data-magik.com/datamagik/dashboards/<id>/view. Share it to send someone straight to a live dashboard, or use it as the target of an automation link, a bookmark, or an embed. The view renders the dashboard's charts, metric cards, and tables from live data.
